  • Kaikōrero/Panelists: Jayden Houghton (University of Auckland), Sheridan Waitai (Ngāti Wai), Jessica Lai (Victoria University of Wellington), Kevin Prime (Kāumatua), Donna Kerridge (Rongoā practitioner), Roger Maaka PhD, Ngāti Kahungunu,  a Professor emeritus of Māori and Indigenous Studies who has worked at the Universities of Canterbury and Saskatoon, Canada, and the Easter Institute of Technology(EIT). As a member of the Waitangi Tribunal he sat on the Indigenous Flora and Fauna enquiry, Wai 262 and he was among the group who drafted the Mataatua Declaration. Roger continues his interest in Indigenous Peoples and environmental issues as well as the treaty settlement development of his hapū.
